Dr. Utpal Pal, Lead PI of Tick Immunity, served on the Vaccine and Therapeutics Subcommittee, established by the Department of Health and Human Services under the Tick-borne Disease Working Group with the 21st Century Cures Act in 2016 to coordinate research efforts for vaccines and treatment of tick-borne disease.
